We've had many guests who have stayed at our loch self catering Oban holiday cottages who were kind enough to leave comments in our visitor book.
"This has been the most lovely holiday I have ever had - the perfect, much needed rest. I feel ready to face the world again. Thank you so much for being so welcoming and for the spotlessly clean self catering cottage. The views are stunning - changing every minute. Whoever chose the decor in the cottage has a very artistic touch and it is wonderful to have such a well equipped kitchen with glorious views to see from it. Everything about this week has been just perfect. We hope to come again next year - for two weeks this time.
I will miss the mountains and the lochs. I recommend the boat trip up Loch Etive. Thank you."

"What a fantastic week! This has been one of our best holidays ever and we will be so sad to leave. Your cottage is beautiful - cosy, warm and clean and the views are absolutely stunning.
Alfie (nearly 3) has enjoyed pottering down to the local shop, going on the ferry to lismore, playing with the toys in blue box and watching the Thomas The Tank Engine videos.
Guy (37) has enjoyed the views, walking on Lismore and around the peninsula and spending time with his family.
I have really enjoyed walking in the breathtaking countryside and coming back to a warm cottage for a hot chocolate.

"The house was lovely, I had a fantastic holiday. Speechless, perfect ideal holiday, location fantastic, house perfect with a capital P, owners spot on!! Steam train Fort William to Mallaig a must, Nevis Range, idyllic, Mull amazing. Oban beautiful, couldn't fault anything, no midges and perfect weather. We will be back."

"We have had a lovely week. The cottage is really well-equipped and clean - thank you very much! The welcome pack was great too. We enjoyed eating at the Pier House - would recommend it and they are child friendly too. We would also recommend trips to Fort William, Oban and Mull (although the ferries can be a bit expensive). The Sea Life Centre near Oban was good too.

"Fantastic weather - high pressure over Scotland - sunsets beautiful. Mixed sailing in our Hawk 20 based at Lismore Marina. Good meals at The Holly Tree and Pier House. Wildlife seen - porpoises, seals, sea eagles, pine martin - can't get much better."

Although the weather kept us guessing until the last couple of days, it has not prevented us exploring Lismore, Oban, Fort William and the coastal glens.
